Breathe Again
Dance - Tech House
Breathe Again is my biggest body of work to date, a project that truly represents the evolution of MAIIKO’s sound. This EP brings together four records that each stand out in their own way, showing different sides of my production while staying rooted in the club. It’s dynamic, high-energy, and intentionally diverse, built to move between peak-time moments and deeper, late-night atmospheres.
The EP opens with “Mami”, an energetic tech house track driven by a Spanish vocal and crafted specifically for the club. It’s bold, rhythmic, and instantly infectious. “Can’t Let Go” shifts into a more progressive, melodic tech house lane, blending a catchy, singable vocal with high-energy rolling basslines and a synth inspired by my previous release Vertigo. This one has quickly become an anthem in my recent sets. Then comes “Say My Name,” a powerful tech house record featuring strong, punchy drums, trumpet elements, and a repeating synth in the second and third drops that has become a staple for bigger venues and larger crowds.
The EP closes with “Closer, Breathe”, a dark, acidic, deep tech house track built for underground and late-night club settings. Heavy, hypnotic, and sensual, it leans into a raw, acid-driven energy paired with a perfectly matched vocal that enhances its shadowy atmosphere. Together, these four tracks make Breathe Again not just an EP, but a statement of growth, range, and identity in my sound.
